"With these objects and love and with help from above,
I'm making a present for Cleo.
She's lives 'cross the way, and my mom used to say
that without her we wouldn't be here.
Will you hand me those scissors and pass me the glue?
And do you think that she would like glitter?
I hope she likes ribbon, and I know she loves me.
Her picture is up on the fridge. Can you see?
She's the nicest old lady that lives on the street.
So I'm making a frame for Cleo."

Together with the help of artists spread across the country, photographer Aubrey Edwards and writer Darcie Stevens hope to tell the story of Cleo's joy. Her childlike exuberance will be helped along by the artist's brush, which will animate photos of destruction and chaos with what a child might see. Each artist may contribute to two or more photographs digitally or manually. Our purpose is to create a tool for post-traumatic children in the real world. While our story is fiction, it is based in reality: photographs of real children, real adults, and real landscapes. There is a lack of children's photo books in the market, and we want to take up that slack and help every child realize that his or her contributions to the community are immeasurable.
